Instructions
1 Remove the lid from the shoebox. Measure the height of the shoebox with a tape measure. Cut through the halfway point with a utility knife. Dispose of one of the cut halves.
2 Place a sheet of newspaper on the table. Place the cut half of the shoebox horizontally on the newspaper, with the open side facing up. Shake the can of white spray paint for 30 seconds. Spray the inside of the shoebox and let the paint dry for three hours.

Throw the newspaper in the trash. Stand the cut half up on the table with the open side facing you.
4 Open the battery compartment lid of the LED light bar and insert batteries. Close the lid.
5 Place the LED light bar over the top of the shoebox. Rotate the light bar so the LEDs are pointing down. Tape the ends of the light bar to the shoebox with strips of duct tape.
6 Place the white paper on the table vertically. Raise the far end of the paper. Stack two paperback books behind the far end. Tape the top of the far end to the top of the paperback book's side with strips of cellophane tape.
7 Place the shoebox that is now a light box over the paper. Line up the sides at the back of the shoebox with the paperback books.
8 Turn on the LED light bar. Place an object on the paper inside the light box you have made when you want to take its picture.
